For my first assignment for my Master's degree I have been asked to re-design the superhero character Blue Beetle.
Initially I was told it had to be suitable for a live action film with an adult audience in mind; but because of my style of drawing the brief was changed slightly for me and I was able to change my audience to children.
The brief indicated that there should be some Egyptian references in the design, that there should be a vehicle included in the design sheets and final piece and that the character should remain powerless and rely on his costume or weapons.
